A great way of seeing a stunning landscape. The Douro valley is simply stunning, with steep terraced vineyards on both sides. We took the train from Porto Sao Bento to Pinhao (a great place to walk around, with multiple quintas to visit). The first hour out of Porto isn't very interesting, but the second hour makes it worthwhile.
